5. How did you end up in the Energy Industry?

My family has a strong tie to the Energy Industry. I followed my Dad and his two brothers into Petroleum Engineering.  

6. Why do you like working with Start-Ups?

I like to be involved in value creation. When a start-up has the right assets and can execute, amazing value can be created.

7. What are three of your interests outside of work?

- Cycling

8.  What are your top 3 accomplishments (personal or professional)?  Don’t be shy!  Give ‘em to us.

- While I won't list specific deals, my time at GSO gave me an incredible "front row seat" in evaluating, negotiating and monitoring a very large number of investments.
- My brief time at Penn Virginia as VP of Subsurface put me squarely back in an operating role and allowed me to use workflows from best in class operators in a Company that was in need of more rigorous evaluation.
- Raising my children. I'm very proud of each of them.
