I'm currently retired.

5. How did you end up in the Energy Industry?

When I graduated from University, I started in the Energy Industry with Cameron Iron Works. The Industry has always offered challenging and rewarding work such that I have never considered leaving.  

6. Why do you like working with Start-Ups?

I have had many years of experience in Engineering, Technical Sales, and General Management in the Energy Sector. I want to use that experience to help others to be successful in their efforts to begin new businesses.

7. What are three of your interests outside of work?

8.  What are your top 3 accomplishments (personal or professional)?  Don’t be shy!  Give ‘em to us.

  • As President, taking Oil Dynamics from a $40m/ yr producer of Electrical Submersible Pumps to $200m/ yr by capturing contracts in Siberia and redesigning our manufacturing processes to handle the business. All accomplished in two years.

  • Built and managed a sales organization at FMC Subsea that captured BP's subsea Gulf of Mexico contract resulting in over $300m in sales.

  • Beat cancer twice
