5. How did you end up in the Energy Industry?

I was recruited out of the U.S. Navy by a Shell Technology Ventures company called @balance while they were in start-up mode as a Senior Control Systems Technician.  

6. Why do you like working with Start-Ups?

I believe that every company has to start somewhere and if given the right resources, can succeed. The energy, pace, and flexibility that start-ups have keeps things very interesting and allows me to inject my academic and professional experiences into their success.

  • My Kids - 2 Girls and 1 Boy, 2 Dogs

  • My Kids - I love watching these young humans as they grow up.

  • My academic accomplishments - completing my first Master's while working offshore, now working on number 2.

  • Being a Product Line Manager at NOV and successfully commercializing 9 Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) products.
