Different is Necessary

Remember the Arby’s “Different is Good” campaign from the 90s? I remember deeply analyzing that slogan. The campaign rolled out around my middle school years when life was all about trying NOT to be different.  Middle school was all about fitting in with everyone else. But thankfully, middle school isn’t forever. After working with several companies as a marketing consultant, I know that being different is crucial for a company because what makes them unique is a huge part of their marketing strategy.  It doesn’t work for companies to just “be better”, they have to be different in a relevant and valuable way too.  Different is necessary.

When Sanjay and I started Evolve, our vision was to build a different kind of consulting firm that would transform the consulting experience. Companies need to do things radically different to remain relevant and competitive in an increasingly globally connected market. And Evolve has a radically different approach to consulting.  So, how is Evolve different?  

  • Approach:  You know how some consulting firms are big and impersonal, and apply a cookie cutter approach to everything?  Well, that’s not us.  We want to know your challenges, your pain points, what keeps you up at night, and your business goals.  And we know every team, project, and company is different. We build a project by drawing from our experienced team, and we only bring in the right team members at the right time to help companies with goals and challenges. This approach allows us to build an efficient team that drives value while minimizing costs. We start from scratch with every project in order to customize the best approach.  

  • Team: We are a team of business builders, entrepreneurs, and transformational leaders with extensive Energy experience and perspectives. We offer our clients a wide breadth of services with deep expertise. And we are breaking the stigma of consultants by investing in our clients, becoming part of their team, and developing trusted partnerships. Our commitment to our clients is at the heart of everything we do.

  • Model:  We put skin in the game.  Our flexible compensation model is based on a combination of direct payments and success based milestones, so we build a partnership with our clients and are invested in their success. We focus on completing projects successfully, not counting hours.

  • Experience:  We have built businesses, transformed companies, and worked in multiple entrepreneurial and leadership roles in both good times and bad. Each of us has felt the pressure of meeting urgent business goals with limited time and resources.  We have experienced that overwhelming feeling when trying to find people we could trust to help our team meet business goals and overcome challenges. And now we want to use our past experiences to help our clients be wildly successful.

Evolve is bringing a whole new way of consulting to the Energy Industry. Middle schoolers have it all wrong. Different is good. And necessary.

She is obsessed with supporting startups and loves the challenge of helping them develop a marketing plan and content that will drive demand and growth for their business. When she isn't busy driving Sanjay crazy by questioning everything and eating Reese's peanut butter cups for dinner, she loves spending time with her family, running, reading, creating, and driving her Jeep. She believes in giving back and wants to help children who have been affected by a parent's struggle with addiction.
